Poem: Milestone

I knew I love you before I fall in love with you,
Runaway like a prayer before the dawn,
Kissing you – my number one crush,
Where is the edge when love and hate collide?
Lost in your eyes after tonight –

Something impossible has come along,
You save me from myself,
How could this be?
Broken love and empty promises were all I’ve heard,
Not from you but from him,
Can you erase them and make me whole again?

Teardrops falling endlessly,
Becoming a mariposa is what you care,
I fly to your side,
To be with you forever,
If only you’re mine,
Then I have no regret even I have nothing.

No one else to blame if I fall,
Hard and fast – Doesn’t matter,
Cover up no more,
My love is a burning paradise,
I’ve acquired a battlefield,
To fight this love for whatever it takes…

Just give me a reason to stay,
It will rain when I saw you,
Battle scar and heart attack – Come what may,
Leaving on a jet plane when you tell me that you love me?
Decode this love – Viva forever.
