Poem: #240

I promise to come to you
Each night
Whether rain or shine
of my condition of heartache
Broken love shouldn’t be the
Barrier
Between us
I don’t mean to raise my voice
I mean it when
I –
say how much I need you
And I love you so
My dream and reality
I’ve worked harder to fulfill
Believe not in God
Only me; a sinner!
