Poem: Colour Of Promises

Black happiness in my eyes,
Red leather smothering sky,
Love saves the best for us,
Women from Venus; while
Men are from Mars.

Paradise conquering charm
exclusively for roses and cello.
Silence within two minds
climbing the higher tide.

Lemon swirling by the cherry top,
Counting stars in little frequency,
At the bar table I intend to hop
building dreams in one man’s rampancy.
