Poem: Say Like You Mean It

Your imperfection draws me closer,
You were there when I was down,
Spiritually, far away and yet feeling it,
Wished to meet you one day —

Saying ‘I Love You’
Because you truly mean it
Hold her like you can’t let go,
Kiss her like you’ve never done before —

Silent to the core
Making my heart sore
Please untie the knot
Capitalising our metaphor —
