Micropoetry #55

God has chosen a lover for me,
He said we have to learn
to respect one another
turning hatred into love
inconsideration into understanding
To love endlessly
even when the flower has faded
and when the rose garden is in drought
Until death do both of us part
But one of us
is waiting for either of us
on the beautiful shore by the waterfall

Micropoetry #52

The stage is set for us,
March forward —
Let’s continue where we’ve left,
Ascend the flag of meritocracy
in the land of roaring mountain.

Poem: A Princess’s Musing

We are breathable
Mortal and yet fragile
In between relationship and friendship —
Timing is the main culprit.

“Smile always”
as it has written on my paper cup,
Didn’t they know that there’s no difference
unless you are here with me —

Poem: Natural

A smile upon my face,
Knowingly you’re beside me,
Will not be lonely; not anymore;
tossing and turning on this large bed,
Dancing fingertips on my skin —

You’re blowing bubble gum
in this unlimited summer,
while I am melting chocolate
in the pot. We plan to play
fondue in front of our unborn children.

Poem: Ode To My Love

He caused her disappointment
for his own indulgence and charm,
Angel’s beneath the closed doors,
Her eyes are swollen
like a soul trafficker China-doll.

Hello there beloved missing piece,
I am knocking on Heaven’s door
to see and feel you once again,
Words that are yet to confess,
I pray we shall meet in my sleep.

Mascara keeps me awake,
Concealer gives me confidence,
The world’s my stage to conquer,
I am safe in my own skin,
With or without Kabuki painting.

This poem was written for International Friendship Day, published on Facebook.

Micropoetry #50

Lay me down between
the North and Downtown of
Vancouver with eyes wide open,
while I’m breathing you
by the Lion’s Gate Bridge,
Mouths locking; deeply
when I say ‘I Do’ to you.

Micropoetry #49

Love silently for yesterday’s history,
Kiss endlessly; our tomorrow’s mystery,
Live in this present and cherish it,
For you only live once; rat-racing’s short.
